This seems like a fine time to attack, so hit away with the 5. For the 6, rather than pile a dilly builder on the 3pt, I prefer bringing down a checker from the midpoint. Sure, it leaves 4 blots, but only a roll of 61 will give White a double hit. The rest of the time, all he can do is hit one of your blots, while the many others provide a significant number of return shots for you.
