The checker on the 22pt isn't doing much defensively, while it offers White some nice attacking variations to add to his racing equity. So I'd start with 22/20, then find a 6.

At DMP, if I were farther behind in the race, I'd continue the spare out to the 14pt, with the intention of parking it there to keep pressure on White's midpoint. If hit, I'd hope to enter on the 1pt and put the checker back to work.

But I'm only down two pips after this move, so risking valuable pips to try to force an unlikely shot seems like the wrong plan. I'd try 22/20 8/2.
