Might be Nice for those who Record their Matches

I am not turned off by the price...if it works well and does everything advertised and I can record matches easily with it great. I want to be the "second" to own it however, as I am not sure it is sturdy enough and the arm is high enough to be of practical use over a large backgammon board. Once I see it in use, if I like it, I'll buy it. The main thing that has stopped me from doing this is having to carry a lot of equipment with me in order to have a sturdy stand that his high enough, and of course, the enormous time it takes to transcribe the video.

Until they develop software that puts the video into XG, someone should start a service they access your video and put it into XG for you for a reasonable price. Of course there would be an extra charge to gerrymander the PR to make you look better, which I have seen done in the past as well.

For now, I will continue to play as many matches as I can directly on XG whenever my opponents agree to do this and whenever the tournament director allows. That solves all the problems, and I have yet to see cocked dice or a legal move problem.
