If you run off the anchor, 16 rolls point on your head, 17 hit loose (and I think white will want to hit loose) and the remaining three (65 66 55) are pretty good for white. Still, blue has to get off the anchor sometime, he's ahead in the race, the 6 point is open and will remain open, and the loose hits give some real counterplay.

With the big racing lead, running is thematic. The alternative is to wait for white's board to crunch, or to hit one of her runners and try to escape while she's on the bar. But blue is running out of time for that.

I'll run, but with no confidence that it's correct, and a nagging suspicion that it's a blunder.
