This is nothing resembling a pass, IMHO and inspite of White's open 5 pt. There's all sorts of shot potential here since Blue has nothing to land on in his outfield. It is the double that is in question, rather than the take.

I think if we improve White by giving him his 5 pt, it would be a big mistake to cube yet.

Also, White is MUCH better off here anchored on the 23 pt than the 24 pt.
