If I calculated right, there are 4,296,775,167 positions. That's about 50% more than the Sconyers two-sided bearoff database.

Solving this game would be more work than calculating a bearoff database because you have to keep recalculating the contact positions until the numbers settle down. But with a powerful computer, I don't think it would take terribly long.
