How To Fix a Transcription Error in XG

Correcting a transcription error early in a match is a big hassle. If use XG to fix it, it erases the balance of the match! Here’s what you have to do:
- In XG, choose File, Export, Session to text... to save the match as a text file.
- Edit the text file using a text editor such as Windows Notepad. Very carefully, locate and fix any mistakes. Then save the text file.
- In XG, choose File, Open...
- In the bottom right corner of the Open Saved Game dialog box, change the file type to All Files (*.*).
- Locate the text file, and open it.
- When the file opens, the Game Imported dialog box appears. Select the appropriate parameters, and click Analyze Now. This is a lengthy process, because you have to analyze the match from scratch.
- When the analysis concludes, you can add the players PR to their profiles if you wish. Otherwise you can cancel when the option is presented.
- Finally, press Ctrl+S to save the match as an XG match file.
@Yoshi: I am sending you an email with the corrected transcription. I performed a custom XGR++ analysis on the match.
