I noticed this as well. It is kind of common to refer to equity as percentage in speech. For example, a 0.100 blunder is by some referred to as a 10% blunder. As long as people understand this is a simplifaction it probably doesn't matter - it gives you a picture of the size of error. But I prefer referring to it as 'zero-point-one-hundred' blunder. The equity term encompasses single wins, gammons, backgammons and even cubevig so using 'percentages' is strictly speaking wrong.
