Normalising PR’s in Matches

I would not favor any adjustment to PR as described. PR measures equity lost per choice. Checker and cube mistakes are measured consistently. If players make more mistakes with the cube, the PR should reflect this. Don't change the numerator. It may make sense to think about an adjustment to the denominator. I don't know if this is handled consistently or not. What constitutes a cube decision now. When a player is mindlessly bringing checkers around to save a gammon, this counts as a checker decision. Is it a cube decision in the same position when a player doesn't double because it is too good? I don't know how it works. But, this may be a part of the different you see in the data.
