Value of cube handicap

I think someone mentioned (relatively recently) that cube ownership counts as approximately 7%, but thats at a value of 2 (or rather, larger than 1). Presumably that would be a reasonable starting point - although that statement was made in reference to beavers and bearoff positions, so it could well be much more at the start position. I suppose it would be easy to see what the equities average out to after an opening roll (under your criteria) for all of those. i.e. play the opening roll, then double as the opp, track the equity, and perform some clever analysis.
