Everyone got this right and noticed the key to this position is my opponent's blot on her 4pt. OTB this was also the first thing I noticed but had a tough time talking myself out of 13/11 13/10 (though I did eventually hit both, two down is a blunder) I never like going all the way to the acepoint even when hitting two. Pushes the checker out of play and commits me usually to pushing another checker out of play ASAP to cover said blot.
I also gave serious consideration to 13/11 6/3*. Always referencing any opening position I can I noted after a 52S 32, 13/11 6/3* is correct. Now what's different here? Well, too much to go into all of it but I've already unstacked from my midpoint and White has an inner board blot. Both of these factors point to hitting two.
A play like 13/8 is too stodgy unless your opponent has a very threatening board. (in this example, the made 4pt would convince me to play 13/8 in a heartbeat)
