After hit which is mandatory regardless white has better board. We are behind in the race, both sides has blot in their board and we are behind in the match and hitting is more gammonish, I will play 9/8 with ace.

Hm, it looks as nothing play but is better than misplacing spare with 6/5 or giving good six from the bar to Stick with 23/22 or playing too much conservative while white is on the bar with 10/9.
