Two candidates here: b/22/17 and b/22 23/18.

b/17 somewhat duplicate white's 5s for hitting, covering and escaping and leave all 1s and 7s as shot. And keep our back checkers connected.

b/22 23/18 leaves hitting 2s,6s,3s and 5s for cover.

I like more b/17. In addition it gives us better control of the board.
