What do YOU think? I mean, after your presenting the problem and the solution, I was surprised not to find a "results" section in your post.

That said, I find the method you describe quite appealing. Even though I haven't read everything that is available nor reached high level playing strength yet, I sometimes use this method and often I at least think that it made me gain great insights.

Off on a tangent, I wonder if instead of doing expensive stat. sig. rollouts for some non-early-game position, CPU time wouldn't often be put to better use by rolling out five variations of said position to lesser accuracy.
