OK, anything without 7/4* is out in my book. It's not that Blue will have a particularly good holding/back game if he anchors on the 4 point, it's that he probably won't get gammoned. I'm playing resolutely for the gammon here, although if I get hit again, I may change that plan. I see the other plays, but I don't like them.

That leaves 13/8, 21/16, and 10/5. 10/5 is out because it just doesn't do enough. 21/16 is the play I'd like to make, but adding a 6th blot looks iffy, despite KG's maxim. So 13/8 brings another guy to the zone, makes a decent blocking point, and doesn't expose a 6th blot in case of a disaster on the next sequence of rolls.
