In Response To: Another from Kaz-Tardieu 1999 match (Chuck Bower)

I play 13/8 7/4x as there are 11 checkers in the attack zone and the semi-blitz is quite likely now. Making the 3 pt looks close since with Blue owning his ace pt so early, his backgame chances aren't so good, but I think Blue saves more G's this way if he anchors.

Off course, attacking is not without risk, but Blue's forward chances aren't so good either and if the attack works, Blue is left with an ace pt game and a mess off a home board and his chances to loose a BG shoot up as well.

After 7/4x I prefer 13/8 to 10/5 and don't care for 21/16 just in case things backfire.
