1) 6/3*/1. This is the first move I looked at, and so I'll play that out of default, mostly because I don't feel like looking at other plays. If I had posted this an hour or two ago, you wouldn't have even gotten this much analysis.

2) 13/8. This is safe, and keeps our 4 pip lead in the race.

3) 6/3* and...13/11? Nah, too loose.

4) 10/7* and either 10/8 or 13/11. This doesn't look so bad. There's 14 shots at the blot on the bar, which is only 3 more than 11. We give up the 10 point, but we hit White's forward blot, which means we help prevent him from escaping and gain up more ground in the race, and our builders are in better position to do something. On the other hand, losing the 10 point is a hefty concession, but it's not like White is anchored on the ace point.

5) I've rejected 6/3*/1 in favor of 10/7* now. 13/11 leaves an additional 3 shots and 2 blots. It strips the midpoint, which could be bad in an exchange of hits, even though we have an advanced anchor. So I'll take 10/7* 10/8 over 13/11 10/7*.

6) A cursory glance at the position again...any other plays I missed? 13/10 6/4? No. It's also 11 and better distributed, but I'd rather gain some ground in the race. If I'm going to play 13/10, I'm going to follow with 10/8. Speaking of 13/8, now that I've noticed it, what do I think of it? It probably leaves me about 50% in the game. A little bit better, since I already have an anchor, and have superior distribution, but the race is still even. What about 10/7* 10/8? Well, I'm about even if I get hit, but have a definite pull if I don't.

7) 10/8 10/7*. This is something like how my thinking would go OTB, except I'd do it faster. And I might just play 6/3*/1 out of habit.

8) Am I done yet? Oh, my dice are still on the table. I need some food. It's too bad that I'm in the box and may have to wait for 25 minutes to get something to eat...oh God, this is a match, and it's not even an even score. Now it could take me 35 minutes or more to eat. And I need to figure out if the score changes anything...but then it'll take me longer to eat. 10/8, 10/7*.
