Sure, but why would someone put in the hours if they didn't love what they were doing?

Do you think the Williams sisters loved tennis? Maybe they do now, maybe they don't, I don't know...but I believe growing up it was shoved down their throats much like religion is, and as most abiding religious folks do, they swallowed it whole and asked for seconds.
