It's the little things that change a bg position completely, what the opening moves study has shown me. If there were 4 checkers on our 6 pt. here instead of 3 I'd hit 6/5*. Since there aren't and hitting would strip our 6 pt. and leave us with fewer covers if White actually misses our blot, I have to go with 13/12 even though that's still 8 shots.
