I did the same thing you did, posting before reading the other newer thread. You are right, the GUI hasn't changed all that much between versions 0.14 and 0.16. One change they did make that I don't understand is the removal of the Roll and Double buttons from the toolbar while retaining the Beaver button. If GnuBG is playing at WC strength, how often will it make an improper double to which the correct response would be to Beaver? Never. The Roll button I think was actually useful for when you would be stepping backwards and then forwards and then want to continue your money game. Now you have to press CTL-R which is no problem, but the Roll button was convenient.
