Making the 3 pt leaves blot on the 9 pt exposed to a double indirect and also strips the 8 point while destroying the slotted 5 pt.

Making the 4 pt keeps the 5 point slotted but exposed to a double direct, but is a clearly more forceful play and forceful plays are good when the opp is stacked high. Duping 31 and 42 is also not insignificant.

I make the 4 pt here and prefer it by about .040.

I'd find this OTB as I've seen similar stuff.
