You don't need barpt here. It could help as landing spot for midpoint checkers but there is already two points in outfield for such purpose. Also after making barpt blue have to clear it sometime and with 20pt anchor he can't be primes.

I would play 6/3 to get more chances for attack white's blot and I like to leave outfield spare for making more valuable 4pt.

Position after making bar point looks so non flexible but with spares on 3,6,8 and 9pt blue can make new points very easily and bring his position home with less troubles.
