What a great idea....and yeah, I'm sure it happens all over the world. The cleaning staff are normally paid minimum wage so what do they really care? They just want to get their hours in and go home. They may also be unaware that there is anything wrong with such practices, maybe having been taught this by an 'old hand', or it could be a case of the 'spit in your food' syndrome.
