the most bacteria laden room in your house?

not the bathroom --- it's the kitchen! there is more nutrition for the little buggers there and it's much easier to contaminate your food with pathogens. that said, the biggest problem for human illness is not oral/oral route, but rather oral/fecal, so the biggest no-no in the video is using the gloves to clean the toilet and then even touching the glasses. drinking from a glass that was drunk from already is not terribly dangerous (the low pH in the GI tract wipes out most potential baddies).
rhinoviruses are much easier to spread (aerosol and touching your own eyes/noses without first washing the hands is inviting illness). by and large bacteria are beneficial and too many antibiotics (confering resistance to the bacterial pathogens) and indiscriminate use of bacteriocial products should be avoided. also, hospitals should be avoided unless there is no other alternative (too many drug resistant bacteria live there and improper infection control by hospital personell is to blame)
