I'm with you, Keene, I would have split the back two in a heartbeat and then slotted the ace. If you don't get one of those two out on the next roll you start crunching and it's downhill from there.

My opponent made his ace point leaving two on my ace point. Naturally, he rolled a six on the first roll. Gammon city.

I was a bit surprised the analysis showed the two plays to be very very close.
