I was only interested in this one because OtB the 5pt was made and Kit at the time agreed with the play. I thought running was called for, escaping the back man at the cost of I believe it was 12 indirect shots where if you get away with it your distribution is good enough to have a good chance to bring it all home safely. You're miles ahead in the race, another argument for the run, and you're only equalizing board strength. What you're also doing is leaving thirteen shots to lose your racing advantage and get the other checker sent back!
