I don't give a shit what a raving loon he became...he was still Bobby Fischer at one point.

Fisher's quote:

He praised the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, saying, "I want to see the U.S. wiped out," and described Jews as "thieving, lying bastards." Fischer's mother was Jewish.

Well, I do care that Fisher was such a buffoonist jerk. I personally do not excuse reprehensible behaviour just because you are smart at one thing. That miserable jag off said this about my beloved country and Jewish people. Go play chess in hell Fisher.
