I wouldn't use "excuse it" as the proper terms, but we're probably arguing semantics. "Overlook" it is more like it, and that's only because I don't personally give any worth to what a raving loon thinks or says. Who cares?

He also wasn't "smart" at one thing, he was a mf genius at the time at that one thing.
