I think I try to indiscriminately talk about lucky rolls and/or skillful play.

I watched very little of the Koca/Pascar match (only seeing the position discussed and the rolls immediately leading up to it) and none of the Koca/Edge match. Thus, I have no opinion, and have made no comment, on Bob's play. He, obviously, must have played well to win the tournament.

However, when ANYONE wins two consecutive matches on eight cubes from behind in the matches with a last roll double I think comment is deserved. To call it lucky is accurate and definitely not demeaning, to not call it luck is naive and a bit too politically correct for my taste.

I think most would agree that for anyone to win any tournament requires a combination of skill and good fortune.
