NY tricky bearoff double 2s

On a five point board, White will dance 3 rolls on average. Ripping 4 checkers now is only two rolls worth. Besides putting White on the bar, 6/4(3)* 5/3 is safer because it closes the gap. Between these two plays the choice is clear. Could a hit & blot play be stronger still? I don't see it so my final choice is 6/4(3)* 5/3.
