The 5point is the 5point. With no board the hit still does some good - it keeps Stick a little off balance by taking away half his roll, prevents him anchoring on the bar point - and with us having more men back anyway being hit back is less costly than usual. OTOH, our structure is left ugly, with a stacked 6 point and stripped other points, and the 5point is - after all - the 5point!
