Looks like a close take to me. White is far from guaranteed to escape, and indeed his 2s are duplicated. The high volatility situations (like this one) often indicate takes rather than drop (no quantifiable evidence to support, this is merely observational). Also, key factors here, what happens on a 55 or 66? It all goes to hell. What happens if he hits another checker (which he should do unless its 11 or 22, then you gain a whole lot of timing with which to watch him crush.

So, I am taking. Probably close too. Am I cubing? Sure. Why not, blue is already primed, and may take too :)
