Since the race is so long, 118 pips, and you have roughly 16 pips, or just over 2 average rolls, to play w/your outside men, I don't think worrying about that first 5 should come into play much. Also the race is too close for me to be recubing. This is typical 4 pt. holding game w/me having you hemmed in for now with a couple extraneous factors. I would elaborate, but I'm supposed to be on the road for NC already so wish me luck. Lots of positions to post when I get back, hope not too many of my own blunders.
