Reason to have two finals: "If the loser's bracket player wins the first match, both players have lost one match each, so we need a tiebreaker."
That must be how the tournament organizers are looking at it.
Reason not to have two finals: "If the loser's bracket player wins the first match, he's already played and won more games than his opponent."
Yes! As it is now, you could argue the most important match of the tournament is the last match on the winner's side. (More important than the first final match because there is more equity at stake. More important than the second final match because there is only a 50% chance that the second final will even be played.)
