Not easy at all. The plain run is comfortable, we're almost even, and with a better distribution. Not bad at all.

But can we do better, if we stay back on 16, who benefits from the extra contact? Stick's 4-pip lead onroll should make us want to keep contact, but that also means he has a little better time to clear his back point cleanly. Also he has an extra point as landing spot, meaning he is all in all more likely to be able to break contact cleanly than us.

Yet, the fact that us staying duplicates his odd numbers, and turns his fours and twos into quite bad numbers tilts the decision for me. Stick's 2s and 4s can now be used neither to break nor fill in the gaps in his board. So even though we may not really gain more than we lose in the hitting variations, we should pick up some in the racing department.
