In Response To: OLM Tues. Feb. 5th (Stick)

The plan was to bolt with large numbers, or to fill in the board with small numbers, but 41 does a poor job of either.

Now I think we have to stay for one more round, avoiding the immediate hits that might not be fatal, but hurts us all the same. Also still, Stick's 4s are his problem number that doesn't fill in his board efficiently, his 2s are not too good either, so again staying back might help both in the hitting and the racing departments.

Then how to make the best of the play frontwards. Leaving the best board with 5/1 3/2 is possible, but the blot on the 5 will be hard to cover if we hit, and may give a hole that hurts in the bearoff. Clearing fromn the rear looks better, 6/2, and then I just lift the 6/5 as well, intending to run with a 5 next turn anyway. Then I only have one blot to take care of if I hit, and it also seems OK for racing, and leaves good 4s (5/1 covering the last blot) if I am stuck for one more roll.

6/2 6/5
