Bo's rule says that having the three spares on the ace point is the worst position. Is it worse than having 2 on the ace point and one on the 6 point?

It seems to be a little worse.

speed [...] numbers like 61, 51, 42.

Also 2-2 and 3-3. And the unspeedy 2-1 and 3-1 can play from the 6 point. Also a difference on 1-1.

Here's some numbers from rollouts.

522222 vs 900000 and 1 on bar: 65.4% cubeless

422223 vs 900000 and 1 on bar: 65.6%

233223 vs 432000 and 1 on bar: 71.8%

233223 vs 900000 and 1 on bar: 72.3%

233223 vs 234000 and 1 on bar: 73.5%

223233 vs 900000 and 1 on bar: 77.9%

222333 vs 900000 and 1 on bar: 78.3%

Opponent's distribution makes a difference too. 9 on the acepoint sometimes loses a roll on the first roll that opponent bears in with. Some coverage on deuce point is good, I forget how many checkers are best -- two ? But you still want all the little doubles to play so the 234000 distribution in Klaus' position is not very good.
