With white's back checker on the 23 point, I like to take a close look at 6-5* since sixes will often play poorly from the bar. After any six except 6-5, blue will have good chances to make one or two key points while white has nothing going. I would play 24-20, 6-5*. If blue is hit on the offensive five point, the blot on the 11 may provide good sixes for blue (whose back checker is also on the 23 after my play).
