K: I suspect that at this point, white must pass any recube. However, the goal here is for blue to get to the recube window, so that white can take. So, technically ND / Pass. Give it a few shakes, lets see if white can somehow get into a taking position.
B: This logic doesn't make sense to me.
Nor to me. Never but never wait on a double/pass that your opponent will pass, hoping that your position worsens to a double/take that your opponent will take.
The whole point in cashing a double/pass is that opponent maximizes his equity by passing. If that's the situation, then you can't gain by waiting if the position a roll later is still a double/pass; opponent still gets the same equity by passing. And you can't gain by waiting if the position a roll later becomes a double/take; now opponent maximizes his equity by taking, and his take equity has to be higher than his pass equity; if it wasn't, he'd pass.
This is one of those positions where you are not meant to ship until you have some checkers off.
If Blue takes off three checkers he's lost his money market.
If Blue takes off two checkers he's lost his money market unless the spare is on the .... guess which point?
If Blue takes off any one checker, money cube action is ...
