The centered GV at 3a 3a is .760 and the take point is high to begin with. At 4a 4a the GV is .680 and the take point is low to begin with. Why would you expect this to be too good at 4a 4a and not 3a 3a? It's not clear to me whether you're talking about the 2 cube gammon values so that you can always cash or the centered cube gammon values. Both may be important. I recommend knowing cold the 2 cube gammon values but only having a good feel for centered cube gammon values is just fine.
