Well, you score points with me for the High Fidelity Top 5 if nothing else ;) Also the Manfred Mann's BbtL.

For me you can't get better than Falco's version of Der Komissar in native tongue. Like Nena's 99 Luftbalons, I'd rather hear the German version than what became popular here.

Bowie is soooo good, but it seems Cobain's voice was more suited to this song (The man who sold the World) imo.

Do not go against TFF!

I can't believe you put in Last Kiss and didn't include PJ's version? It was fairly big...

It's also unfair when phenomenal artists, like Creme(Clapton), Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Zep, etc... cover a song, they're so talented it's bound to sound fuckin' good.
