I must be missing something. This play seems pretty straight forward. I'll read others' opinions after posting.

21/18(2) puts maximum pressure on my opponents 13 and 11 checkers. 10/4 simply slots the next best inner point. Also, 21/18(2) creates a difficult four openings which my opponent may find cumbersome in the long run. 21/18(2) also seems to yield less gammon losses and the best opportunity for a well timed ace point game if our position degenerates to such.
