I'd play 21/18(2) 13/7, and 13/7 10/4 looks second best. 10/4 starts the next point in the prime, but 13/7 starts a gap in the middle of the prime while we still have checkers aimed at it.
Neil's comment was concise and complete. I might add that not only can "we can still be G'd" with 24/18(2), we'd probably lose even more gammons with that play since Opp's bearoff will bear off faster and we'd not have some late gammon saving hits. We've got eight rolls worth of pips just to get all the other thirteen checkers in. "Play to win."
