My first reaction is that the difference in skill levels don't matter as much late in the match (one or two games left) as in consideration of a potential big scoring game early in a match (with a number of games potentially left).

That having been said, rightly or wrongly, I take. A low anchor, good timing, some nice sequences possible -- particularly if they don't hit immediately and we come in next roll.

Easy take.
