I'd like to discuss the Nactation for the opponent's double 4s move. You can either imagine the position before she played the 44, or look at the first (left-hand) diagram below where I've reversed colors, Blue on roll.

For 24/20(2) 13/9(2), B is the right family. B (Both) means to play half the move on the far side of the board, and half the move down (to or within the outer board).

The correct member of the family is "b" (lower case, secondary member).

The hit/more/6 rule determines choice of family member. That is, the order of priority is: (1) hit convention, (2) more points convention, (3) 6pt convention. Because 24/16* hits, it earns the capital letter ("B"). Because 24/20(2) "merely" keeps an extra point, it gets the lower case letter ("b").

When there is no blot on the 16pt, as in the second (right-hand) diagram below, then B = 24/20(2) 13/9(2), and b = 24/16 13/9(2).
