Pay now or later related to a cube position

I think its the ownership of the cube. You can cash out some of these games, or have greater equity when rewhipping the cube, as white essentially just wins singles all the time after a redouble/take.
Making white play a roll here costs white, not blue. White must most likely break that 6 prime in his home board, which then allows for more blue wins even after he gets hit.
So, I suppose my formal answer here is: Because blue can rewhip and its a drop on the sequences after he's forced to leave a single direct shot, and perhaps its a take on a centered cube otherwise. I dont know - thats speculation. I also imagine that there are more sequences after blue is hit that allow escapes, where blue owning the cube means that white cannot cube him out.
Pure speculation. Besides, I like paying now in both anyway. I wouldnt necessarily apply this logic OTB, and am more doing it here because its a theoretical position.
