b/23 12/6 is one way to just leave two blots, getting hit with an immediate 3 is pretty bad though. b/23 12/10 13/11 8/6 or b/23 12/10 13/9 both also leave another blot.

b/23 12/8 10/8 leaves one blot and is probably my OTB (no QF) play. Stacking the 8pt is not a bargain though.

The switch play b/23 12/10 6/4(2) is interesting as it also doesn't leave a second blot. I suspect it's the right play here, not leaving a second blot is pretty big and this play makes the 10pt as a bonus and only swaps a pt. Changing the 6pt for the 4pt is not a common thing to do and hurts my eyes a little though.
