13/3x for me.

That is the correct response to an opening 52S and often the best way to attack at split to the 22 pt.

Making the 2 pt seems to cede some initiative to them and gives them their full roll to try to improve.

Running out leaves shots and one man back alone and doesn't yet work on our forward position.

After 13/3x I am concerned about their 3 pt board, but they have no builders to improve it so we can often survive a return hit.
