I considered 3/1*(2) briefly but rejected it. Blue doesn't need a tempo and he can't follow up with an attack when White is anchored and has a strong board. As long as White has her prime, Blue needs to keep his checkers in play, in front of White's anchors to cause them trouble.

In a Depreli position I suppose anything can happen but I'd be surprised if 3/1*(2) were close.
