I would think that white has a good chance of making his deuce point, using some of the spares from his 3- and 4-points.

Thus, I don't see the deuce point blot as such a big liability as you seem to think it is.

If you believe the majority of white's equity comes from hitting a fly shot on the next shake, then I agree it's pretty bad to have that blot. If you think there's more equity down the road, then it shouldn't matter so much.
